Delete Your Enlightened Recovery Community App Account
The Enlightened Recovery Community App is published by Enlightened Recovery. You can delete your account and its associated content at any time.
Option 1: Delete Your Account From Inside the App
Deleting your account through the app is the fastest option:
- Open the Enlightened Recovery app and sign in.
- Tap the Profile tab in the bottom navigation.
- Scroll to Delete Account.
- Confirm that you want to delete your account.
Your account and content will be removed immediately.
Option 2: Request Account Deletion by Email
If you no longer have the app installed, email app@encyrcle.com from the email address associated with your account. Use the subject line “Delete My Enlightened Recovery Account.”
We will verify your identity and complete your deletion request within 30 days.
What Is Deleted
When you delete your account, we permanently remove:
- Your profile, including your name, email address, phone number, and profile photo
- Your posts, comments, and reactions in the community feed
- Your chat messages and any photos, videos, voice notes, or files you sent
- Your mood check-ins and recovery date
- Your notification settings and device identifiers
What May Be Retained
We may retain a limited amount of information when required by law or when necessary to resolve disputes, prevent fraud, or enforce our terms.
Any retained records are stored separately from the community app, are not used to contact you, and are deleted once the applicable retention period ends. Aggregated statistics that cannot be used to identify you may be retained indefinitely.
